AlbumExposure
AlbumExposure is now the new wedding album previewing software for the studio. The client and the studio share thoughts and make revisions real time. It also lets the client share the album with friends and family. Here is a quote from Ashley who’s album layout we featured a few blog entries ago …. “Hi Joe! LOVE IT! The album looks amazing! George was even able to view it from Japan while he had internet access on his ship and is very happy with it as well. Thank you again for all your help and hard work! “
Time Warp
After a great day yesterday with a little bit of work and a lot of golf (Mondays are my days off) I was heading home. I had a red light at the corner of 148 & 154 and looked out the passenger side window and saw this image and felt I was in a time warp. Knowing who owned the dark grey truck I had to capture the image on my phone … didn’t have the big guy!
Great Weekend
Had a great weekend this past week. It was the first time my wife and I had some time alone after dropping my youngest off to college … I had this weekend marked off on my calendar for lots of reasons
I knew I was going to the Cape about a year ago when Sharon and Paul contracted me for their wedding on Saturday so I naturally marked off that Friday as a travel day so we went to Provincetown … fun time!
Then the best … the Patriots schedule came out in May and there it was … opening day at home on that Sunday!!! …. and with a win.
It’s all about the little things
Maria’s Graduation
My youngest, Maria, graduated this past Friday from high school…… yee ha!!!!!
As life flies I appreciate the time that I have to capture my three daughters together more and more.
Jenna, on the left, also celebrated her 24′th birthday that night and lives in Boston. Jordyn, on the right, is home for the summer from college in Philadelphia.
Maria will be attending Hofstra on Long Island this fall.
First Communion at Harkness Park
Right when we pulled into the parking lot of Harkness Park for Morgan’s first communion portrait session the rain started. Guessing that the storm was going to be somewhat short with still enough daylight left I convinced Jill, Morgans mom, to wait it out in the car ….. I’m so glad we did!!
This is one of my favorites of many … I mean many images to choose from. I just added a little extra grain to the image to give it a little more texture but I see the final wall portrait to be printed onto canvas (without the grain) with a touch artists oils.
I captured this image on my way home after the session. I took a short cut to get home in time to watch the Celtics in the NBA finals … I’m glad I did.
This was captured in Niantic near Millstone.
Hilton Stamford
Sometimes photographing a wedding doesn’t feel much like work and this past Saturday was one of them…. especially after ten hours. Nicole, Kevin, the wedding party … basically everyone there was a pleasure to hang around for the day. I even got to ride in the limo bus all day with them …. that’s a real treat not having to drive especially in Stamford. The Ceremony was at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich with the reception at the Hilton in Stamford.
Saybrook Point Inn
Here’s a few images from Saybrook Point Inn over the last two years.
What do you see?
It’s been 15 years since we built our home/studio so we started a total overhaul of the reception room. After a really late night last week as I was cleaning up from painting and I noticed this paint mark on the floor that I just had to capture
What do you see?
Sound of Music
I had a little fun with this one yesterday … it was taken on my back in the middle of the road in downtown Essex. It was taken for a promotional poster for the local high school’s musical this year … Sound of Music. I feel it’s better than the original
The show is @ Valley Regional HS March 26,27,28.
From left to right is Marissa, Maria (my youngest), Ally, Amelia, Meredith and Zoe.
