Maria’s Graduation

My youngest, Maria, graduated this past Friday from high school…… yee ha!!!!!

As life flies I appreciate the time that I have to capture my three daughters together more and more.

Jenna, on the left, also celebrated her 24′th birthday that night and lives in Boston.  Jordyn, on the right, is home for the summer from college in Philadelphia.

Maria will be attending Hofstra on Long Island this fall.

Saybrook Point Inn

Great news today … the new Wedding Book for the Saybrook Point Inn just came in and I’m honored to get the cover photo

I had Rebecca, the bride, on the docks for one of the coldest days this past January … she was a awesome!

First Communion at Harkness Park

Right when we pulled into the parking lot of Harkness Park for Morgan’s first communion portrait session the rain started.  Guessing that the storm was going to be somewhat short with still enough daylight left I convinced Jill, Morgans mom, to wait it out in the car ….. I’m so glad we did!!

This is one of my favorites of many … I mean many images to choose from.  I just added a little extra grain to the image to give it a little more texture but I see the final wall portrait to be printed onto canvas (without the grain) with a touch artists oils.

I captured this image on my way home after the session.  I took a short cut to get home in time to watch the Celtics in the NBA finals … I’m glad I did.

Harkness Park Engagement Session

I first photographed Kristen for her high school yearbook back in 2002 and now her engagement session at Harkness Park last night.  It was a pleasure meeting Mark who happens to be a state trooper which came in handy last night when we needed to stay a bit longer because they wanted to close the park a little earlier than sunset:-)

They are planning a 9-10-11 wedding.

Saltwater Farm Vineyard

Ashley and Jeremy were suppose to get married on July 30 of this year but had to move their wedding up because Jeremy got excepted into the police academy and they would not grant him any time off. So after much scrambling they settled on this past Sunday.  The reception also had to be changed and was held at the lovely Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington.  Lucky I had the date open and was able to re arrange my schedule ….I’m so glad I did because I had a blast with them.  As you can tell by the slide show, it was a great day!
